New Horizons Detox Center

Located in Hampden, Maine, New Horizons provides a safe and supportive environment for adults seeking to begin their recovery journey from opiate and/or alcohol use. Our medically supervised detox center offers compassionate, short-term support—typically 5 to 7 days—guiding individuals through the physical process of detoxification with dignity and care. 

Who Is Eligible?

 To be considered for detox treatment at New Horizons, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be seeking detox from alcohol and/or opiates (including heroin)
• Be motivated and ready to begin your recovery

How to Access Our Services

• Individuals may confidentially self-refer by calling direct at 207-217-6521
• Our caring nursing staff will conduct a detailed phone screening to ensure the program meets your needs and that a bed is available
• Once eligible, you will receive clear guidance on the next steps for admission, ensuring your safety and comfort from the very start
